We arrange
team building and leadership development
events in the heart of KZN, utilizing the
battlefields, horses and a chuck wagon to
illustrate business principles that apply
to the workplace. The need for teamwork
increases every day within South Africa’s
ever changing and evolving corporate landscape.
We create an atmosphere where people willingly
participate, enjoy and learn from the experience.
This results in the delegates feeling both
positive and uplifted.
The turbulent history
of South Africa is the backbone of our program
that uses history and horses to develop
staff at all levels. All South Africans
should have a cognisance of where they come
from, in order to understand where they
are now and where they are going. This crucial
input is the thread that pulls different
components of the program together.
Through accurate accounts
of real battles, delivered on site by a
specialist battlefield guide, we highlight
issues like communication, leadership, reconnaissance,
hierarchy, initiative, strategy and mobility,
relating them to your business environment.
We listen to your needs and help you provide
the solution by tailoring our program to
your specific requirements. Horses add the
physical aspect that gives our program legs,
as our intervention involves mounting participants
on well trained trail ponies and riding
as did the soldiers of yesteryear through
virtually unchanged and rugged country.
For non-riders there is a mule-drawn chuck
wagon that lends its own challenges.
The program is introduced
with an entertaining talk by a specialist
historian entitled “The Roots of the
Rainbow” that traces the bloodshed
of our past through to the emergence of
our peaceful democracy, highlighting the
ability of our nation to overcome amazing
odds. Listeners are encouraged to move forward
with positive attitudes.
There is real and lasting
change only when the soul is touched and
this happens as we reflect on those who
died in battle and feel the heart of Africa
echoing in the hoof beats of the horses.
Suitable for small groups
of up to 30 participants.
